The Thomas-Ginex Fret Refinishing Methodwas designed to correct buzz causing grooves and areas of wear due to string contact with the frets. These will eventually occur in those areas of the fingerboard you play most in. The photos at the left show the difference in fret condition only 10 minutes after the procedure was begun.
The inherent concept incorporated in the Thomas-Ginex Method and which makes it unique, is that the strings are not removed and are tuned to pitch. This maintains string and neck tension as it exists under actual playing conditions, resulting greater accuracy during the leveling step.
FRET POLISHING KIT BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS
BEFORE using the Thomas-Ginex Fret Polishing Kit, newly dressed frets have minute surface roughness. This results in a "gritty" feel. When bending notes takes place, this condition can be annoying to the player, especially if one is used to frets worn smooth over a long period of normal playing.
AFTERusing The Thomas-Ginex Fret Polishing Kit this roughness is reduced to an imperceptible level and your frets will have a glass-like, super smooth finish.
